About the role
- Lead multi-country clinical trial delivery: Oversee trial execution across your area, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and efficient study delivery.
- Champion operational excellence: Proactively identify and remove barriers, implementing solutions that enable faster, smoother study delivery.
- Advocate for countries: Represent the needs and perspectives of country teams in global forums, making sure their voices are heard.
- Drive performance through data: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities, using data-driven insights to optimize trial execution.
- Forge strong partnerships: Collaborate with other functional heads, senior leaders, and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and ensure clinical trial success.
Requirements
- Significant and broad experience in clinical research, particularly in regional or global trial operations.
- A proven track record of leading (multi-)country clinical teams and achieving high-performance outcomes.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and development skills.
- Experience in using performance metrics and data-driven decision-making to guide strategy and execution.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-cultural capabilities.
- An advanced degree in a related field (PhD, MD, PharmD, or MSc is preferred).
