About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design business-driven solutions in the clinical trial and real world data acquisition domain
- Jointly develop the IT Product roadmap with engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with Roche enterprise standards
- Resolve technical challenges during system development
- Explore and pilot emerging technologies
- Mitigate security and compliance risks
- Propose and lead proof of concepts (PoC) with the Tech team
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of work experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead
- At least 4 years in the Life Sciences or Pharma Industry
- Knowledge of Pharma Regulations (GxP, Computer Validation)
- Experience designing business-driven, standards-based solutions
- Proven track record of contributing to architecture practices
- Experience in Clinical Trial Data Systems, such as Electronic Data Capture (EDC)
- Experience with ETLs/ELTs, data warehouses, enterprise data integration patterns
- Proficiency in Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, Ontologies
- Advanced capability to drive external technology trends
- Fluent in English
