About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure quality and compliance of embedded firmware solutions
Take end-to-end responsibility for software verification of complex medical devices
Plan, execute, and document software tests throughout the development lifecycle
Define, implement, and lead device-level automation test frameworks
Manage defect reporting and resolution workflows
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for firmware verification defects
Define and lead verification strategy for wireless communication and cybersecurity standards
Provide technical guidance to agile teams and promote knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field
6-8 years of experience in software testing with a Bachelor's
5-7 years of experience with a Master's
3-5 years of experience with a PhD
Professional experience in a regulated environment (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in firmware testing
Experience with defect management in firmware/software development
Expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols, functional safety, and cybersecurity
Excellent business fluency in English
Ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges
