About the role
- Be the critical link between complex business challenges and technical data solutions
- Elicit, analyze, and translate business rules into requirements for data engineering
- Design and maintain conceptual and logical data models
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Data Product Owners, SMEs, and Data Engineers
- Lead evaluation and documentation of business processes and workflows
- Translate complex business logic into technical requirements
- Identify adjustments to Data Warehouse schema
- Assist in integrating new datasets into existing architectures
- Ensure solutions meet data integrity, security, and validation standards
- Drive feature development and support data cleansing initiatives
- Conduct root-cause analysis for incidents and initiate problem-solving activities
- Design test layouts and execute testing; manage Data Quality KPIs
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field
- More than 3 years of experience in Pharma Technical Operations
- Proven project work in the pharmaceutical industry
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA)
- Basic proficiency in UMP or BPMN for requirement gathering
- SQL/fundamental Python for data extraction, transformation, and visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Ability to design conceptual and logical data models
- Experience with systems like SAC, SAP GUI, ELN, LIMS, MES, LES (a plus)
- Skilled at understanding technical processes and translating them into actionable insights
- Fluent in agile methodologies (e.g., Jira, HP ALM)
