About the role
- Combining college-based learning with on-the-job training
- Attending college to learn the fundamentals of engineering
- Working with engineering experts in Hospitals
- Diagnosing faults with equipment and implementing solutions
- Developing capabilities to deliver best in class service
- Technical training under guidance of Certified Trainers
- Gaining a recognised engineering qualification after successful apprenticeship
- Providing on site support to Roche Diagnostics products
- Delivering world class professional service including installations, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, modifications & de-installations
Requirements
- At least five Leaving Certificate D grades including Maths and English
- A full driving licence (evidence of ongoing learning is acceptable)
- Candidates who already hold an engineering qualification or degree will not be eligible for this role
- A passed Colour Vision Eye Test
- Excellent practical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a team with good problem solving and communication skills
- Passion about developing a career in engineering with an interest in science and desire to learn new skills.
