About the role

  • Combining college-based learning with on-the-job training
  • Attending college to learn the fundamentals of engineering
  • Working with engineering experts in Hospitals
  • Diagnosing faults with equipment and implementing solutions
  • Developing capabilities to deliver best in class service
  • Technical training under guidance of Certified Trainers
  • Gaining a recognised engineering qualification after successful apprenticeship
  • Providing on site support to Roche Diagnostics products
  • Delivering world class professional service including installations, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, modifications & de-installations

Requirements

  • At least five Leaving Certificate D grades including Maths and English
  • A full driving licence (evidence of ongoing learning is acceptable)
  • Candidates who already hold an engineering qualification or degree will not be eligible for this role
  • A passed Colour Vision Eye Test
  • Excellent practical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enjoy working in a team with good problem solving and communication skills
  • Passion about developing a career in engineering with an interest in science and desire to learn new skills.
