About the role
- Support complex, international business projects
- Provide strategic assistance and guidance on a variety of legal matters
- Lead the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of a diverse portfolio of complex international commercial agreements
- Manage disputes and litigation arising from assigned business areas
- Interact with colleagues across Roche to determine compliant yet practical legal responses and planning
- Develop and present legal training on various topics of relevance
Requirements
- Master's degree in Law (MLaw, lic.iur.)
- Admission to the bar (Swiss, German, UK, or U.S. admission preferred)
- At least 5 years of post-bar professional experience in a multinational company or respected law firm
- Legal Expertise spans across Contracts, Competition Law, IT/software law, Data Privacy, and Litigation/Dispute Resolution
- Fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus
- Strong team orientation and a purpose-driven approach
- Hands-on mentality and pragmatism
- Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, convincingly, and diplomatically
- International academic or work experience is an important plus
