About the role
- You will assist our staff with the planning and installation of our cobas® pro and cobas® pure laboratory systems, as well as with maintenance and modifications
- You will also gain insight into the IT networking of our systems
- Considerable initiative, customer focus and technical aptitude are required during customer visits at various hospital or private laboratories
- At the start you will receive training on our immunology cobas® systems and will be accompanied in the field by a mentor
- You will be deployed across the Baden-Württemberg region and may choose your place of residence freely within the area.
Requirements
- You are taking a gap year or studying in an engineering field (Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering)
- You may already have initial experience in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, IT interfaces and measurement technology
- You are not only theoretically interested in technical issues but also demonstrate practical skills
- You are interested in IT topics (e.g. network technology, firewalls)
- You are interested in field service and the diagnostics environment
- You hold a Class B driving licence and welcome business travel within the regional service area with a company car provided by Roche, which may also be used privately
- Very good, business-fluent German language skills are required for communication with our customers.
