About the role
- You will receive maintenance training in March (09.03.–13.03.2026) on two immunology modules (cobas® e402 and cobas® e801)
- You will demonstrate your technical skills during device installations and maintenance
- You will gain insight into the analysis and resolution of complex technical and application-related issues and support our staff in problem diagnosis
- You will get exposure primarily to our clinical chemistry and immunology areas; shadowing opportunities in other departments are also possible
- You have an interest in IT networks and IT security and can learn a lot from our staff during firewall installations
- You will contribute your organizational skills and independently take on defined task packages (e.g., instructing our customers in the use of our online platform Navify)
- You will practice your communication skills in conversations with our customers and in team coordination
- Minor project tasks can be completed on certain days from home office. Most of the time you will be working on site at our customers' locations
Requirements
- You are in a gap year or studying in an engineering discipline (Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering)
- You may already have initial experience in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, IT interfaces and measurement technology
- You are not only theoretically interested in technical issues but also demonstrate practical skills
- You have an interest in IT topics (e.g., network technology, firewalls)
- You are interested in field service and the diagnostics environment
- You hold a Class B driving license and look forward to business trips within the regional service area with a company car provided by Roche, which may also be used privately
- Very good, business-fluent German language skills are required for communication with our customers
