About the role
- Build and scale foundational tools and systems that thousands of Robinhood engineers rely on daily to write, test, and deploy code efficiently and reliably
- Improve build efficiency and stability by managing monorepo builds using Bazel
- Maintain and scale continuous integration pipelines that support thousands of builds per day
- Develop and operate safe deployment workflows using Argo Rollouts and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Provide and optimize remote development environments to accelerate developer workflows
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to ensure reliable and cost-effective development tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on infrastructure or developer tooling
- Proficiency with Go or Python, and familiarity with Bazel, CI/CD systems, and GitHub
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes-based deployments and progressive delivery strategies
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, and Argo Rollouts
- A proactive mindset and commitment to building reliable, high-impact infrastructure for developers
