About the role

  • Synthesize internal stakeholder needs into rigorous Statements of Work (SOW) and process blueprints to prevent vendor ambiguity.
  • Perform feasibility studies and evaluations based on cost, core competency, and risk to optimize sourcing decisions.
  • Drive project progress against defined requirements to ensure vendors deliver exactly what was promised on schedule, switching fluidly between procurement and project management mindsets.
  • Define the interaction model with partners, such as adding specialized talent or managing full-service agreements.
  • Conduct global benchmarking and manage complex sourcing using weighted scoring models, including technical stability and data security.
  • Craft Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with performance penalties, build "Gainshare" models, and ensure data repatriation and termination clauses are in place to mitigate dependency risks.
  • Act as a primary bridge between financial goals and relationship management, navigating the emotional aspects of outsourcing between business units and external partners.
  • Create roadmaps for moving knowledge and processes from internal teams to external providers.

Requirements

  • BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in Outsourcing, Category Management, or Technical Project Management.
  • Deep understanding of Total Cost of Outsourcing (TCO) and proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or ERP systems for scenario analysis and fact-based decision-making.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and intellectual property protection across various jurisdictions.
  • Strong ability to secure buy-in from stakeholders with conflicting interests while remaining solution-focused under pressure.
  • A proactive diplomat comfortable setting boundaries and enforcing discipline across cross-functional internal and external teams.
  • Comfortable with an office-based role and available for occasional travel as required.
Benefits
  • Working for a __Great Place to Work®__ certified company;
  • Comprehensive pension plan;
