Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist
Robin Radar SystemsSupplier QA Specialist ensuring suppliers deliver quality components and participate in audits and training. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on specifications and performance monitoring.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Safeguard quality at the source by ensuring suppliers deliver components and services that meet rigorous standards.
- Take ownership of supplier qualification, monitoring, and auditing to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, Production, and Quality to translate specifications into clear requirements for suppliers.
- Manage supplier selection and qualification, monitoring performance throughout contract execution.
- Review product and service specifications with design, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Plan and conduct regular supplier audits to verify compliance with standards like ISO 9001.
- Oversee inspection and testing of procured products to ensure they meet defined quality criteria.
- Provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality tools and standards to build shared understanding.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA or MSc/MBA in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, or quality control in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Proficiency with quality management systems and data analysis tools.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cultures and backgrounds.
- A team player who collaborates well with internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement) and external suppliers.
