About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Safeguard quality at the source by ensuring suppliers deliver components and services that meet rigorous standards.
  • Take ownership of supplier qualification, monitoring, and auditing to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements.
  • Partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, Production, and Quality to translate specifications into clear requirements for suppliers.
  • Manage supplier selection and qualification, monitoring performance throughout contract execution.
  • Review product and service specifications with design, engineering, and procurement teams.
  • Plan and conduct regular supplier audits to verify compliance with standards like ISO 9001.
  • Oversee inspection and testing of procured products to ensure they meet defined quality criteria.
  • Provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality tools and standards to build shared understanding.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or MSc/MBA in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, or quality control in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with quality management systems and data analysis tools.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cultures and backgrounds.
  • A team player who collaborates well with internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement) and external suppliers.
