About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Safeguard quality at the source by ensuring suppliers deliver components and services that meet rigorous standards.
Take ownership of supplier qualification, monitoring, and auditing to ensure compliance with design and quality requirements.
Partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, Production, and Quality to translate specifications into clear requirements for suppliers.
Manage supplier selection and qualification, monitoring performance throughout contract execution.
Review product and service specifications with design, engineering, and procurement teams.
Plan and conduct regular supplier audits to verify compliance with standards like ISO 9001.
Oversee inspection and testing of procured products to ensure they meet defined quality criteria.
Provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality tools and standards to build shared understanding.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA or MSc/MBA in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, or quality control in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
Proficiency with quality management systems and data analysis tools.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cultures and backgrounds.
A team player who collaborates well with internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement) and external suppliers.
