About the role

  • Contribute to the backend development in a product-focused squad
  • Collaborate on design decisions and write high-quality, well-tested code that solves challenging problems
  • Work closely with engineers and product managers in a product-focused squad
  • Develop back-end services and GraphQL APIs using Django, Flask and similar Python frameworks
  • Build software to allow customers to create contracts from templates, review and edit incoming contracts, and ask questions about existing contracts
  • Participate in product development combining traditional engineering, neural networks and LLMs

Requirements

  • 3+ years backend experience
  • Experience with web-based languages (Python, Go, Node.js) and associated frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask)
  • Experience developing back-end services and GraphQL APIs
  • Familiarity with Celery and Elasticsearch
  • Experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, SQS)
  • Experience with CI/CD (CircleCI) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code and collaborate in a product-focused squad
  • Willingness to work out of the New York office 3 days per week (application asks for confirmation)
