Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Primarily manages bankruptcy routine matters
- Draft and review all pleadings and claims filed in the particular matter
- Attends scheduled hearings
- Responds to general firm wide bankruptcy inquiries
- Review filings on behalf of the clients
- Monitoring of all electronic filings (ECFs)
- Resolving routine bankruptcy matters such as Motions for Relief, Objections to Confirmation, Proofs of claim, etc.
- Regular communication with the client, opposing counsel and the Court
Requirements
What you’ll need- Working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure
- License to practice law in Maryland required
