About the role
- Perform comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of lawsuits, including review of pleadings, exhibits, and other supporting materials
- Draft and review pleadings and correspondence during the course of litigation
- Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws relating to debt collection
- Handle contested matters, including discovery and trials
Requirements
- 3-5 years legal experience
- Bar membership in Pennsylvania. If you are barred in other states that is a plus!
- Strong computer and general office skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written correspondence
- Ability to work independently
