About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the management and scheduling of Road Scholar's online program calendar
- Develops and administers online programs, overseeing instructor selection, budgeting, and program logistics
- Supervises and supports staff responsible for developing, scheduling, and delivering online programs
- Collaborates across departments to plan, execute, and enhance Road Scholar's portfolio of online programs
- Monitors and evaluates participant feedback, identifies quality concerns, and resolves issues promptly
- Utilizes software applications and platforms—including Zoom, Salesforce, and MicroStrategy
- Identifies and implements opportunities for new content, formats, and strategies to expand and enrich Age Well and other online offerings
- Supports the development and refinement of internal processes and workflows related to online program delivery
- Partners with subject matter experts in aging, health, wellness, caregiving, and related fields to develop relevant programming
- Serves as Moderator and/or Zoom Producer for online programs as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in gerontology, aging services, public health, social work, psychology, adult education, or related fields focused on lifespan wellbeing and older adult populations preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in or commitment to issues related to aging, ageism, caregiving, longevity, or later-life transitions.
- Candidates with an established professional network in the aging, wellness, or lifelong learning communities preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Organized professional with 3–4 years of relevant experience in program management, education, content development, or related fields
- Proficiency in Zoom or other online learning software
- Experience in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Experience with project/account management necessary
- Excellent customer service skills
- Analytical skills and high attention to detail essential
- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, motivated, flexible, and creative individual with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environment
- Comfortable navigating gray areas and adapting to evolving business needs
