About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and manufacturer specifications
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of wind turbines
  • Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear and recommend proactive maintenance strategies
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure tools and equipment are in top working condition
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet project timelines and safety standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience as a wind technician (required)
  • Preferred Certification : GE 1X and 2X LOTO Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work at heights exceeding 300 feet and in varying weather conditions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Flexibility to travel extensively and work in remote locations
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards
