About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate IT infrastructure services, ensuring the availability, performance and security of environments.
- Manage and evolve the following domains: Networking and Connectivity, Datacenters and Platforms, ITOC (Operations and Observability), Cloud and Hybrid Environments, Infrastructure Security (InfraSec) and Databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Establish and monitor performance indicators (SLA, SLI, SLO, XLA).
- Ensure operational continuity and implement resilience and disaster recovery strategies.
- Lead technological modernization and digital transformation initiatives for infrastructure.
- Promote process automation and adoption of Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage infrastructure service contracts and vendors.
- Implement and enforce security and compliance practices.
- Support strategic decisions using operational data and indicators.
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency (FinOps).
- Integrate infrastructure with DevOps practices and application requirements.
- Coordinate technical teams, promoting development and high performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks or related fields.
- Postgraduate: Specialization or master’s in Cloud Computing, Information Security, IT Management or related areas.
- Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation (or higher) — Mandatory.
- CompTIA Security+ or other security certifications — Advantage.
- ISO 27001 — Advantage.
- COBIT 2019 — Advantage.
- Solid experience managing IT infrastructure services in medium/large corporate environments.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams (networking, systems, cloud and security).
- Hands-on experience with hybrid IT operations (on-premises and cloud).
- Experience managing services based on ITIL and operations oriented to SLA, SLI, SLO and XLA.
- Experience with critical environments, high availability and business continuity.
- Experience managing vendors and technology service contracts.
- Experience analyzing operational metrics and making data-driven decisions.
- Experience with cost optimization initiatives (FinOps) and operational efficiency.
- Network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, SD‑WAN).
- Network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V or similar).
- Storage (SAN, NAS, SDS).
- Backup and disaster recovery (B&R, DR).
- Observability and monitoring (APM, NPM, logs, metrics and tracing).
- Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, OpenShift).
- Automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar).
- Operating systems (Linux and Windows Server).
- Vulnerability management, patching and hardening.
- ITSM tools and service management.
- FinOps concepts and cloud cost management.
