About the role

  • Monitor the physical and budgetary execution of projects, alerting managers to any deviations or delays to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality.
  • Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in monitoring the portfolio, consolidating information on physical progress, performance, and critical issues.
  • Assist the PMO in developing and implementing processes, templates, and methodologies.
  • Monitor and propose improvements to performance indicators for R&D&I projects.
  • Consolidate and monitor the portfolio risk map, proposing actions and mitigation measures when necessary.
  • Prepare executive reports and analytical materials for committees and governance bodies.
  • Support the creation, standardization, and continuous improvement of the Directorate's project management processes, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Perform administrative activities to process contracts and financial reporting for R&D projects.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Contracts, and other relevant departments to follow up on process progress.
  • Interact flexibly and proactively with managers, responsible teams, and other stakeholders to ensure programs and projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Create and organize project management supporting documents (e.g., project charter, scope statement, schedule, work plan, calculation notes, meeting minutes, status reports, among others).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial/Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate degree (completed) in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in project management.
  • Experience working in Project Management Offices (PMOs).
  • Experience managing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) projects.
  • Knowledge of Process Management.
  • Familiarity with tools for remote project monitoring.
  • Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Planner, and Jira.
  • Fluent in Portuguese, with strong written language skills (formal standard).
  • English (reading and writing).
