About the role

  • Preparation and calculation of service and fee proposals for architectural or general planner services
  • Obtaining and reviewing service and fee proposals from specialist consultants
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts with clients and specialist consultants
  • Supporting and participating in proposal and contract negotiations with clients and specialist consultants
  • Preparation of proposals for additional fees (change orders)
  • Commercial and legal monitoring of projects in close cooperation with project management and project controlling
  • Advising executive management and project teams on fee-related and legal matters
  • Point of contact for contractual questions

Requirements

  • Degree in architecture, civil engineering, law, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the commercial and legal management of planning and construction projects
  • Good knowledge of HOAI, AHO and Werkvertragsrecht (German law on contracts for work and services) and at least basic legal knowledge
  • Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Confident manner and strong negotiation skills
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
