IT Support Specialist
RIVIERA DINING GROUPIT Specialist delivering technical support and troubleshooting for employees in a hospitality environment. Collaborating with the IT team on new technology rollouts and system upgrades.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver on-site and remote technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and networks.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of computer systems, applications, and peripherals as well as Point of Sales systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware and software systems.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Educate staff on best practices for using technology and software applications.
- Collaborate closely with the IT team to support the rollout of new technologies and ensure smooth execution of system upgrades.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Additional coursework in Computer Science or IT is strongly preferred.
- IT support experience preferred; hospitality industry background a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
- Toast POS experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language for non-technical users.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are advantageous.
