About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary relationship contact for Motor Carriers after onboarding, building and maintaining strong, productive partnerships across the assigned Gulf Coast footprint.
- Communicate regularly with Motor Carriers to reinforce service standards, surface issues early, and support mutual success, using clear, direct communication rather than employment-style coaching.
- Act as the point of contact when Motor Carrier issues need resolution and Operations or Risk have not been able to close them out.
- Protect the business-to-business, arm's length nature of every Motor Carrier relationship, avoiding any language or practice that could be read as treating a Motor Carrier or their SPEs as RLX employees.
- Track Motor Carrier service standards across measures such as on-time delivery, installation completion, claims, and customer satisfaction.
- Use service data to inform partnership conversations, identifying strong Motor Carriers for expanded opportunity and flagging at-risk relationships before they become lost capacity.
- Provide regular reporting on network health, service trends, and escalation activity to leadership, tying lost capacity to its revenue and EBITDA impact where relevant.
- Support Risk Management in monitoring contract compliance, rate adherence, and insurance requirements after onboarding.
- Coordinate with Motor Carriers to address compliance gaps, documentation needs, and contractual questions.
- Support contract renewal and settlement discussions in partnership with Operations and Finance, referencing the terms defined in Schedule A.
- Identify relationship opportunities, including growth, continued partnership, or exit recommendations, based on service data and relationship insight, in coordination with Operations.
- Collaborate with the Capacity Sourcing team to identify network gaps and inform future Motor Carrier recruiting priorities.
- Support the development of strategic partnerships with strong Motor Carriers to expand capacity and capability across the footprint.
- Partner with Capacity Sourcing and Operations to ensure a smooth handoff and integration of newly onboarded Motor Carriers.
- Equip and support Profit Center Leaders so they can carry the day-to-day Motor Carrier relationship, recognizing that the department equips and Profit Center Leaders execute.
- Provide relationship context and insight to support broader business decisions, including capacity planning and service model changes.

- Strong understanding of Motor Carrier service standards, contract structures, rate and settlement management, and compliance requirements in a 3PL or final mile environment.
- Domiciled within the Gulf Coast band of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana, with DeFuniak Springs, Florida strongly preferred.
