About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage daily activities of the medical practice
- Supervise staff, scheduling, and operational workflows
- Hire, onboard, and retain staff and providers
- Manage payroll, customer service, access to care, referrals, authorizations, compliance, collections, chart audits, and operational expenses
- Improve patient experience using satisfaction surveys and other tools
- Resolve concerns and complaints related to care, access, and service
- Ensure scheduling and wait times meet RMG metrics
- Create a safe work environment and report safety events
- Manage revenue capture, reconciliation, staffing, training, cash, and accounts
- Ensure compliance with payer billing and coverage requirements
- Collaborate with providers and practice director on office operations and resources
- Use dashboards and data to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Develop and review key data and reports
- Participate in root cause analysis and performance improvement
- Assist with recruitment, orientation, and retention of practice providers
- Apply critical thinking to problem solving
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 1 year medical office experience (Required)
- 2 years supervisory experience (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Preferred)
- Ability to supervise 5 or more providers and 20 or more team members
