About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage daily activities of the medical practice
  • Supervise staff, scheduling, and operational workflows
  • Hire, onboard, and retain staff and providers
  • Manage payroll, customer service, access to care, referrals, authorizations, compliance, collections, chart audits, and operational expenses
  • Improve patient experience using satisfaction surveys and other tools
  • Resolve concerns and complaints related to care, access, and service
  • Ensure scheduling and wait times meet RMG metrics
  • Create a safe work environment and report safety events
  • Manage revenue capture, reconciliation, staffing, training, cash, and accounts
  • Ensure compliance with payer billing and coverage requirements
  • Collaborate with providers and practice director on office operations and resources
  • Use dashboards and data to identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Develop and review key data and reports
  • Participate in root cause analysis and performance improvement
  • Assist with recruitment, orientation, and retention of practice providers
  • Apply critical thinking to problem solving

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1 year medical office experience (Required)
  • 2 years supervisory experience (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Preferred)
  • Ability to supervise 5 or more providers and 20 or more team members
