About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Use financial acumen, including knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP, to assist clients on financial and tax issues associated with M&A transactions
  • Draft EBITDA tables with supporting calculations and networking capital analysis, factoring in underlying business metrics
  • Lead management meetings for due diligence projects
  • Highlight risks and opportunities associated with gross margins, working capital requirements, and synergy assessments
  • Coordinate and manage engagements throughout the transaction life cycle
  • Coach and provide performance feedback to junior team members
  • Foster a team-based working culture
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives including community service, training, recruitment, and company events
  • Travel as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CPA/CA/MBA Finance/Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience
  • At least 2 years of transaction experience focused on quality of earnings, networking capital, and cash flows
  • Knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities
  • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build, nurture, and sustain strong client relationships
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to proactively identify challenges and seek effective solutions
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
