• Be responsible for the administration and maintenance of HPC clusters, including compute nodes, storage systems, and networking

Solutions Engineer

• Ensure the successful integration of Deltaflow with the control systems of Riverlane’s customers and partners.
• Use your background in experimental physics or engineering to support customers in achieving their first QEC results.
• Enable North America-based customers with varied laboratory equipment by identifying effective integration ways.
• Use Riverlane’s software tools and Deltaflow for rapid QEC experiment prototyping in collaboration with customers
• Present QEC integration and experimentation results at conferences, publications, and other relevant avenues
• Influencing Deltaflow’s product development by advocating for customer needs
• Work with stakeholders across Riverlane to influence the creation of educational content for new QEC customers
• Champion a culture where Riverlane shares customer QEC success stories to benefit the wider QEC community

QEC Integration Engineer

Application Engineer

• Provide on-site and remote support for customer installations and bring-up of embedded systems
• Assist customers in developing and debugging embedded software using embedded C/C++ toolchains
• Guide integration of custom IP and drivers with Linux or bare-metal applications
• Support customers with the build and installation of libraries and tools, including custom ones, needed for verifying the correct functionality of the system
• Help configure and deploy embedded Linux systems and kernel modules
• Design scalable and verifiable systems
• Work with both user-level software and FPGA hardware systems
• Support pre-sales technical engagements by delivering software-focused demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and evaluations
• Create technical documentation, training materials, and tailored application notes to accelerate customer success
• Work closely with R&D and product teams to report field issues, share customer feedback, and shape future software support
• Collaborate with our commercial teams to drive adoption and expansion of Riverlane’s software solutions for QEC

Senior Field Application Engineer, Embedded Software

• You will work alongside engineering teams throughout the entire feature development process of our products.
• You’ll identify test requirements for new features and design novel tests to ensure that the quality of our product remains high as these features are integrated.
• You will develop a deep systems level understanding of our products, which you’ll bring to the fore when working with other engineers to identify the underlying causes of test failures.
• In addition to developing novel tests, you’ll ensure that existing nightly tests remain reliable, diagnosing any regressions.
• You’ll also identify opportunities to implement new ways of working to improve the quality of our system test infrastructure and accelerate the quality assurance cycle.
• We're creating something truly unique, complex and large-scale, so being comfortable with engineering to evolving specs is key.

System Software Engineer

• Leverage your expertise on FPGA platforms (e.g. AMD/Xilinx MPSoCs/RFSoCs, Altera Stratix 7 or Stratix 10), and associated IP integration workflows to our customers and scientists.
• Drive the integration of our solution into our customers’ existing systems, leading on-site and remote customer support
• Guide customers through RTL-based design, synthesis, implementation, timing closure, and bitstream generation
• Provide technical support, reference designs, and custom example projects to support customer ramp-up
• Work on customizations of our RTL to meet the needs of early-customers/prototypes.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring that field feedback helps shape product improvements
• Collaborate with Business Development to support pre-sales technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and customer benchmarks
• In performing the above, you will (often from scratch) design, modify or integrate novel IPs and develop tests, collaborating closely with our software, verification and testing experts to deliver an outstanding product.
