Business Development Officer
River City BankBusiness Development Officer responsible for generating profitable financial relationships in commercial real estate lending. Providing high-quality service and collaborating with banking teams to expand clientele.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generates new, profitable financial relationships, focusing on commercial real estate lending.
- Provides consistent, high quality service to expand the current business customer base while meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives.
- Interacts directly with Business Banking and Commercial Real Estate Lending Officers in presenting CRE loan proposals to mortgage banking referral partners and potential Bank customers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Five years proven and progressive related sales and marketing experience
- Knowledge of commercial lending practices and lending approval process
- Ability to meet and/or exceed established sales goals (demonstrated ability to develop new commercial banking relationships preferred)
- Excellent public relations and sales skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Well-developed decision-making and persuasion skills
- Ability to build and maintain an average $30 million pipeline
- Expected annual loan origination volume of $75MM to $100MM per year
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a business, economics, finance or related degree or equivalent experience.
