About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to guide sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align offerings with market demand.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Drive regional engagement with the Vertical Market Team’s strategy by translating national priorities into actionable regional plans, coordinating field activities, and aligning reps and distributors to targeted accounts and applications.
  • Support major OEM, EU, and distribution engagements where multi-touch coordination is required, ensuring momentum without needing Regional VP escalation.
  • Develop relationships with complementary technology partners (Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Phoenix Contact, etc.) to further reach into new accounts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and use data to inform strategic decisions
  • Travel required >65%
