About the role

  • Draft, review, proofread, and file legal documents with the courts, serving them upon other parties involved in the case.
  • Prepare and proofread legal correspondence dictated by or drafted by attorneys, submitting these to clients, medical professionals, and other case parties.
  • Process, organize, and maintain documents within paperless case files, including ensuring the accuracy of contact information.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, assisting with document processing, case file management, and hearing preparation as needed.
  • Combine, compile, and transmit large paperless documents and files.
  • Track legal deadlines and meet all deadlines in a timely manner without supervision or direction.

Requirements

  • Experience with general liability defense, workers' compensation subrogation, or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
