About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform general accounting tasks related to period-end closing, SOX and financial statement audit support, Financial Operations accounting, and compliance
- Report contract revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and At-Risk contract results accurately and timely under GAAP, corporate, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly working papers for inventory and risk contracts
- Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet variance analyses
- Address business issues and their resolution based on transactional and contractual obligations
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare statutory compliance reporting
- Participate in special projects, committees, and other accounting duties or projects
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred in an accounting or finance role
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Oracle experience is an asset
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Time management skills
