About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical leadership for mobile app used in vehicle auctions
Guide architectural decisions and set iOS engineering standards
Own the CI/CD pipeline for iOS
Improve observability practices and drive data-informed decision-making
Lead security hardening across the iOS codebase
Design and implement integrations with third-party platforms
Collaborate with backend teams on API and service design
Partner with product and design on feature backlog
Support production incident response for iOS issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of professional iOS engineering experience
Deep expertise in Swift and UIKit
Proven experience leading or contributing to a UIKit-to-SwiftUI migration
Strong grasp of iOS architectural patterns (MVVM, Router/Coordinator, Async/Await)
Experience owning CI/CD pipelines for iOS (GitHub Actions, Xcode Cloud, or similar)
Hands-on experience with feature flag systems
Solid understanding of iOS security: Keychain, certificate pinning, etc.
Experience integrating and maintaining push notification platforms
Proven ability to mentor engineers across experience levels
Strong communication skills to articulate technical tradeoffs
