About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Supervisor, Payroll implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll, including inputting data.
  • Answer employee questions regarding their benefit accruals.
  • Prepare general entries.
  • Monitor and verify tax deposits and returns.
  • Audit payroll records.
  • Calculate hours worked from timesheets, production records, or individual timecards.
  • Input data to the payroll system, including employee name, days worked, overtime earnings if any, date, gross pay, deductions, required withholdings, and net earnings.
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific payroll legislation, tax requirements, labor laws, and reporting obligations.
  • Monitor payroll controls and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of paychecks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years' experience in Payroll Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills while collaborating with cross-functional departments.
  • Experience supporting payroll in APAC is mandatory.
  • Experience with Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or other enterprise HRIS/payroll systems is preferred.
  • Must be able to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong prioritization skills by proactively managing day-to-day tasks, including balancing new assignments with an active inventory.
  • Strategic thinking and foresight.
  • Experience leading payroll transformation or system implementation projects is a strong asset.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced culture, changes in the environment, and shifts in priorities.
