Territory Manager
Ritchie Bros.Territory Manager serving as the front line of the business in Christchurch, NZ. Proactively prospecting new customers while managing existing accounts and solutions sales.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- proactively prospecting and cold calling new customers
- managing existing accounts
- selling various multi-channel solutions
- understanding customer needs – “it’s all about the customer”
- negotiating and closing deals in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- sourcing and growing sales with new business
- developing assigned territory by building and maintaining the Playbook
- utilizing the CRM (Salesforce) tool on a frequent basis
- attending 4 to 6 auction sales, 1 to 2 days each within the region
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role, and a consistent track record of meeting / exceeding quotas
- valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record
- Equipment Industry or Construction Equipment experience is preferred
- Experience in quota-driven sales required (Industry experience/knowledge highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to build and maintain authentic customer relationships
