About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for high volume processing of accounts payable transactions for multiple legal entities in North America / EMEA / APAC
- Ensure all suppliers are paid on time
- Adhere to appropriate remittance process and internal controls
- Review, correct and validate invoices and payments
- Lead and support the AP team of 5 during month/quarter/year close
- Support internal and external audits
- Accurate and timely responses to Payment Reminders and queries
- Verify signing authority of invoices, purchase orders and expense reports
- Audit and support employee expenses (T&L)
- Support, guide and train team members
- Work closely with Project team to improve and simplify processes
- Perform other general tasks related to Accounts Payable
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-4 years of accounts payable experience in EU environment
- An MBO accountancy degree
- Experience working with Oracle
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized, detailed-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to always meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience working well as a member of a team and proven leadership skills
