Account Manager
Ritchie Bros.Account Manager responsible for building strong customer relationships at Ritchie Bros. Facilitating financing transactions and engaging in business development activities.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contacting customers who are interacting with Ritchie Bros. with the goal of obtaining a completed credit application that will lead to a financing transaction.
- Making outbound calls to customers who have purchased equipment at a recent Ritchie Bros. auction.
- Satisfying the needs of all financing inquiries from customers who interacting with Ritchie Bros. auction.
- Marketing to and educating the customer on the Ritchie Bros. Financial Services product offering.
- Establishing equipment financing pre-approvals for customers’ future purchases.
- Providing rate quotation information to customer.
- Closing customer on terms and conditions of approval.
- Execute on the Follow the Customer strategy, where applicable.
- Execute on the re-seller strategy to engage end user customers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Driven to seek new business and have a natural ability at building authentic customer relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to collaborate and interact effectively within a team
- Sales experience is an asset; we also value transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated ability or potential to meet or exceed goals.
- Additional languages are an asset, especially French or Spanish
- Strong presentation, strategic thinking, negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job
