About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively prospecting and cold calling new customers
- Managing existing accounts
- Selling various multi-channel solutions
- Developing business, planning, and pipeline management within the assigned territory
- Understanding customer needs and delivering value
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close deals
- Attending auction sales and meeting with customers
- Traveling overnight approximately 5 to 7 days per month
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role, and a consistent track record of meeting / exceeding quotas
- You’ll have to have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record
- Equipment Industry or Construction Equipment experience is preferred
- Experience in quota-driven sales required (Industry experience/knowledge highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to build and maintain authentic customer relationships
- Competitive without sacrificing integrity
- Work primarily from a home office and on the road
