About the role

  • Provide financial and operational analysis support for the Transportation Department.
  • Analyze transportation data to support various projects and initiatives related to release dispatch and transport operations.
  • Develop and update procedures for utilizing various systems and automation tools used by the Company related to transportation.
  • Work with other IAA Teams such as the Information Technology (IT) representative for the Transportation Department.
  • Provide analysis of current transportation and operations practices to determine process and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Provide the necessary transportation analysis and decision support systems for transportation and other functional areas as deemed appropriate by the Transportation Manager
  • Work with the Team, operations management, IT, accounting, and sales to resolve issues and solve problems regarding transportation.
  • Summarize and analyze key operational and system metrics on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Act as a liaison between area directors, branch managers, dispatch and Tow vendors, IT, and transportation.
  • Resolve service failures and help implement processes for continual improvement.
  • Monitor the execution of transportation systems and related projects throughout the implementation and ongoing use to ensure that performance indicators are met.
  • Create reports and reporting mechanisms to monitor and control all aspects of the transportation systems and related projects.
  • Complete administrative support processes related to system updates.
  • Ensure compliance between company policies and the procedures.
  • Perform special projects as requested.
  • Partner with the technology team to optimize the Salesforce user interface to effectively support the tower recruiting workflow
  • Act is the department liaison between operations and the Salesforce support team
  • Make recommendations to implement additional data fields and amend Salesforce architecture to enhance the tower recruitment capability
  • Identify and implement improvements to data integrations to effectively connect performance measurement to recruiting resources
  • Develop recruitment audiences to maximize the conversion rate of recruiting efforts
  • Partner with the tower recruiting team to document workflows and find opportunities to optimize those workflows to achieve recruiting targets
  • Develop measurement and process to improve tower network utilization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, or related degree) or equivalent experience required with three (3) plus years work experience Microsoft Office/Excel proficient
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, oral, and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong project management experience with attention to detail
  • Establish confident ability to communicate with vendors and internal associates
