Employee Benefits Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client needs and objectives to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Manage the renewal process for existing accounts, including market negotiations, proposal preparation, and presentation.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
- Educate clients on policy terms, conditions, and coverage options.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products.
- Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and activity logs in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new insurance products.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in servicing employers and employees with their insurance benefit needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
