About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and review financial statements and reports for Captives business units
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff
Identify and implement process improvements
Work directly with Captive leadership located in California, North Carolina, The Bahamas and Cayman Islands

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Ability to travel 2 to 3 weeks per year.
