About the role
- Senior Private Client Relationship Manager will fulfill an integral role developing cohesive relationships with Risk Strategies' largest and most complex clients and serving as a strategic advisor for coverage related inquiries and analysis.
- Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external clients by meeting and exceeding service expectations for assigned book of business.
- Actively service and retain existing accounts to mitigate client risk and exposure.
- Maintain appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers by documenting and updating electronic files in agency management system.
- Respond to client inquiries, service requests and claims issues within established timelines.
- Participate in the retention of renewal business and drive renewal efforts.
- Execute coverage analysis, notify clients of coverage gaps, provide quotations for additional coverages, and document client decisions in agency management system.
- Interact with Producers and PCS Leaders to make coverage recommendations and engage in account rounding activities.
- Market, analyze, negotiate and prepare carrier renewals, including alternative renewal options.
- Assist leadership with audits and reviews of existing client accounts on an as needed basis.
- Act as an informal or formal mentor for less experienced members of the PCS team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by PCS Regional Leader as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ Private Client management experience
- Valid P&C brokers’ license
- College degree preferred
- Industry specific designations preferred- CAPI, CPRIA, CIC or similar
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems: AMS 360, WorkSmart and EPIC preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Private Client underwriting, coverage and procedures
- Ability to clearly articulate these products/coverages to clients and underwriters
- Understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet clients’ needs
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexible and able to work effectively under pressure; handling multiple tasks with interruptions and changing priorities
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills
