Key responsibilities & impact

Lead market research projects from planning through delivery, including competitive, consumer, labor market, and higher education research.
Analyze labor market, enrollment, demographic, employer demand, and competitive intelligence data to identify market opportunities and emerging trends.
Synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
Work with large datasets from internal systems and external sources including Lightcast, IPEDS, Qualtrics, and other market intelligence platforms.
Translate complex analyses into clear visualizations, presentations, and business recommendations.
Manage multiple research initiatives with minimal oversight and continuously identify opportunities to improve research processes and reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Market Research, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in market research, market intelligence, business analytics, or a related field.
Experience developing dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business insights.
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across strategic and technical teams.
Experience with Lightcast, IPEDS, Qualtrics, or similar research platforms is great to have.
Working knowledge of SQL is great to have.
Familiarity with Databricks or cloud analytics environments is great to have.
Experience in higher education, non-traditional skills based learning, workforce development, consulting, or EdTech is great to have.
Experience using AI tools to enhance research and analysis is great to have.
