About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent, strategic technology projects across infrastructure, applications, security, and enterprise initiatives
Build and actively manage project plans, schedules, and budgets using PMO-standard tools and templates
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and drive them to resolution
Partner with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to remove obstacles and maintain delivery pace
Manage scope and change requests, evaluate trade-offs, and make recommendations
Coordinate interdependent workstreams, functional teams, and vendors
Provide evidence-based status updates for PMO governance and portfolio reviews
Drive on-time, in-scope, and on-budget project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience managing technology projects in a fast-paced, high-growth, or high-change environment
Ability to manage multiple concurrent, complex projects without losing momentum
Track record of driving projects to resolution, not just tracking and reporting status
Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, Asana, or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including translating technical detail for varied audiences
PMP, CSM, or other project/Agile certification preferred
Experience with formal PMO governance preferred
Familiarity with technology infrastructure, application delivery, or security projects preferred
Experience in EdTech, higher education, or another complex, highly regulated industry preferred
