About the role
- Develops paid social ads, websites, landing pages, brochures, and infographics
- Designs and produces high-quality digital assets, including web pages, email campaigns, social media graphics and marketing materials.
- Creates and maintains design guidelines, style guides and brand standards to ensure visual consistency.
- Applies UX/UI best practices to enhance usability, accessibility and overall user satisfaction.
- Adapts designs for multiple devices and platforms.
- Stays current with design trends, tools and technologies
- Reviews, refines and iterates designs based on stakeholder feedback and testing.
- Manages multiple design requests, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Works closely with the broader Marketing, Recruitment, Academic Services and Student Support teams to produce images and graphics aligned to campaign needs.
- Seeks feedback from key stakeholders to refine images and visuals.
- Participates in brainstorming and ideation sessions to contribute to creative solutions.
- Supports the design team in producing mock-ups and layouts under guidance from marketing managers.
- Monitors industry trends, design practices and competitors to keep visual content relevant and impactful.
Requirements
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a design role, ideally within education, marketing, or mission-driven organizations.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across digital formats (ads, web, infographics, brochures).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Figma/Canva.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with UX principles, such as intuitive navigation and responsive design.
- Understanding of digital performance metrics and responsive design best practices.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Customer-focused mindset with a student-centric approach.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively in a remote team environment.
- Able to think creatively and translate concepts into visual images.
