About the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to design and build backend features
- Build, maintain, and improve scalable backend services, systems, and infrastructure
- Own features end-to-end across the product lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- At least 3 years using Node.js
- Strong experience building data-driven, distributed systems
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and Kubernetes
- Previous experience working in the Financial Services industry
- Previous experience collaborating in an Agile remote environment
- Previous experience with Kafka or similar (we use NATS)
