Accounting Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in recording and reconciling daily Food & Beverage and Retail sales from multiple POS systems into the accounting platform (Sage), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Track, compile, and organize revenue data from various sources to support reporting and financial analysis
- Assist in identifying discrepancies and resolving data inconsistencies across systems and reports
- Support the development, documentation, and implementation of standardized processes for revenue tracking and reporting
- Participate in training initiatives and proactively recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy
- Provide support to other areas of the Accounting and Finance team as needed, including ad hoc projects and assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data organization; pivot tables a plus)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and problem-solve
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Prior internship or accounting-related experience is a plus, but not required
