About the role
- Investigate and analyze residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve claims and legal matters
- Gather photographic evidence and conduct on-site investigations
- Prepare oral and written reports documenting cause of failure and remediation recommendations
- Provide expert testimony in litigated matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5 years’ minimum engineering experience in design or forensic consulting roles
- PE license in New York required
- Experience in litigation and investigations required
- Knowledge of building codes and industry practices required
