About the role
- Provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications for global clients
- Research, troubleshoot, and support multiple SAP modules across SAP 4.x, ECC, and S/4 HANA environments
- Diagnose serious issues and develop, test, package, and deliver fixes in complex, integrated, highly configured environments
- Connect with stakeholders, business division leaders and business users to understand problems and requirements
- Ask discovery questions and lead requirements gathering with supply chain and production stakeholders
- Analyze and architect scalable, flexible solutions extensible to future business needs using SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
- Evaluate and articulate solution value to all organizational levels and create practical end-to-end designs
- Communicate designs and intended architecture; work closely with Developers and Analysts; lead planning, testing, deployment until final delivery
- Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks
- Contribute to governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities
Requirements
- 6+ years relevant SAP experience particularly with MM/SD Modules
- 6+ years direct support of application end-users in a Corporate environment
- 8+ years relevant SAP experience particularly with PP/QM Modules (listed as additional)
- A minimum of 2 End to End Implementations
- Experience as a specialist in SAP MM/SD, procure to pay process design, LE, Variant configuration, EDI, development, configuration, implementation, and post go live
- Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Production stockroom and Quality departments
- Track record of successful roles in SAP implementations, roll-outs or application support
- Relevant working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processes
- Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
- SAP certification(s) preferred
- Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture
- Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules
- Superb troubleshooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
- Passionate focus on customer support and ability to build long term client relationships
- Strong knowledge of key application functionality, tables and relationships
- Deep knowledge of SAP customization/extension methodologies
- Excellent development skills using SAP toolset
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations
- Ability to work remotely from a home based office in a virtual environment
- Good to have: Food Processing Industry experience
- Expertise with SAP 4.x and ECC/S4 HANA, including full life-cycle implementation, configuration and administration
- Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage
- Language: Fluency in both English & Mandarin is required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
