About the role

  • Provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of our global customer support team.
  • Researching, troubleshooting, and supporting of multiple SAP modules for our global clients who use both 4.x and ECC environments.
  • Diagnose serious issues; then develop, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly configured environments.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of the clients by coordinating with their representatives.
  • Ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side in collaboration with other department professionals.
  • Write the code using ABAP programming language and perform regular usability tests on the code.
  • Ensure that all programs are completed in schedule as per the client's guidelines.
  • Provide technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting guidelines and modifications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in the field of ABAP and FIORI programming and SAP modules
  • 5+ years’ experience in BTP (administration and integration skills)
  • 3+ years knowledge of SAP systems such as FI/CO, MM and SD is also required
  • Prior experience in object-oriented programming, ABAP lists and other related fields
  • A track record of successful bug free codes written for clients
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP ( Cloud Foundry, Destinations, Connectivity , CI/CD pipelines).
  • Design and exposure of OData/REST APIs and API Management on BTP.
  • Experience with SAP CAP (Node/Java) and ABAP RAP programming models.
  • Proven ability to develop and troubleshoot Brazil localization requirements (Nota Fiscal, tax determination, fiscal document processing).
  • Advanced performance analysis and optimization using SAP tools (SQLM, ST05, SAT, ATC).
  • Collaboration with BW/Analytics teams (custom extractors, ETL routines, error handling).
  • Security best practices for ABAP and BTP developments (authorization checks, secrets management, audit logging).
  • Experience working in highly customized environments (Z routines, user-exits, enhancements).
  • Ability to handle critical incidents and working under SLA-driven environments.
  • Proven track record in documentation and knowledge transfer activities (such as KT sessions, producing runbooks, and solution documentation).
