Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment with product and company strategy.
Translate business goals, customer insights, and technical constraints into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Ensure requirements address functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, usability, and compliance considerations.
Partner with engineering and design teams to plan sprints, refine stories, and deliver high-value increments.
Act as the voice of the customer and the business, aligning with product managers, UX, engineering, sales, and customer success teams.
Continuously gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to inform backlog prioritization and iteration.
Engage directly with customers to understand product use cases, adoption barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
Support the Product Manager in refining product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market initiatives.
Define and monitor KPIs for product features to ensure delivered value is measurable and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)
5–8 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis preferably at an enterprise software / Software as a Service company
Proven experience working on a financial platform such as a billing or royalties subledger.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and features.
Knowledge of BI, reporting, and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
Experience defining user stories for complex data workflows, reporting frameworks, and self-service analytics.
Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to justify prioritization and measure success.
