About the role

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets for Microsoft services
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to winning opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs
  • Understand Microsoft as an alliance/channel partner and navigate their organization to build relationships with sales partners
  • Stay updated on industry trends and Microsoft product updates to effectively position services
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services
  • Work from home and travel ~20% of the time to visit customers and partners
  • Drive business growth through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably with providing services to customers using Microsoft software
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Modern Work Technologies, including Copilot, Azure, Office 365, Viva, the Power Platform, and related services
  • Understanding of Microsoft as a company and ability to navigate their organization to build relationships with sales partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Willingness to travel (~20%) to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Preferred: Experience working with enterprise clients at a VP level in various industries
  • Preferred: Network of connections at Microsoft
  • Preferred: Familiarity with sales methods and processes (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, Strongman)
  • Preferred: Advanced degree or certifications in Microsoft Technologies
  • Preferred: Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
