About the role
- Oversee legal matters from inception through post-judgment remedies.
- Deliver high-quality legal representation.
- Treat all clients with fairness and respect.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing and oral communication skills.
- Handle high volume caseload and provide expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.
- Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.
- Willing to travel to various courts within the state of PA, if needed, as legal representation in various legal proceeds and to attend court hearings.
- Work with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation
- J.D . from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in PA.
- Travel to various courts within PA for court appearances and onsite meetings
- Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
- Outstanding Time Management skills
- Experience in Creditors' Rights law
- License to practice law in multiple states (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage
