About the role

  • Own our overall events strategy, planning and executing best-in-class events (both virtual and in-person) that will resonate with our target audience to drive brand awareness, build trust, and generate pipeline
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to build and maintain a robust events calendar that aligns with business objectives
  • Manage events from end to end with operational and logistical excellence, including all planning, promotion, stakeholder communications, asset/collateral creation, day-of execution, attendee follow-up coordination, and reporting
  • Work with internal and external partners to secure high quality speakers, panelists, and workshop facilitators who are thought leaders in their respective areas of expertise
  • Uplevel our current webinar strategy by increasing the volume, diversifying our topic mix, expanding our reach, elevating the attendee experience, exploring new technologies, streamlining processes, and pursuing strategic partnerships
  • Organize in-person events we host such as panels, fireside chats, and informal meetups to showcase our expertise as well as cultivate and nurture relationships with our target audience
  • Oversee our participation as attendees at other events, including speaking opportunities and sponsorships, and work with stakeholders to manage all logistics and planning for each opportunity
  • Measure and analyze event program performance, optimizing our strategy to deliver on KPIs
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest growth marketing news and trends to build a relevant, impactful event calendar

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience with a proven track record of organizing high caliber events
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong project management chops—keeping timelines updated and stakeholders informed, holding others accountable, and delivering high quality work on time
  • Capable of overseeing multiple events simultaneously without compromising on quality or impact
  • Comfortable speaking with senior marketing executives and in front of an audience, for example hosting webinars, moderating panel discussions, and facilitating in-person conversations
  • Strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with, or excitement to learn and work with a tech stack that includes Webflow, Zoom, Canva, Zapier, ClickUp, Google Analytics, Slack, and Google Workspace products
  • A drive for excellence, a love of learning, and a fascination with all things growth, marketing, and ecommerce—you’ll be talking about them all day, everyday
